Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined
Be careful not to overmix; its okay if there are a few lumps
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface
Pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the skillet for each pancake
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of each pancake
Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides
