French Dip Sandwich
French Dip Sandwiches are a tasty treat that come on hoagie rolls with a flavorful au jus for dipping. They are made with thinly sliced roast beef and melted provolone cheese.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Cut hoagie rolls down the middle, but not all the way through
Put the horseradish and mayonnaise together and spread it inside the rolls
Put provolone cheese and roast beef in the rolls
Put Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, beef broth, and garlic in a saucepan
Warm up
Use the warm beef broth to cover each sandwich, then put them on a baking sheet
After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese melts
As a side, serve hot with the rest of the beef broth
