Jamaican Jerk Beef Ribs
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef ribs
- 3 tbsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix Jamaican jerk seasoning, soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, lime juice, chopped onion, and minced garlic to make the marinade
Rub the marinade all over the beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated
Put the dish in the fridge for at least two hours, or better yet, overnight
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Remove the beef ribs from the marinade and season with salt and pepper to taste
Grill the beef ribs for about 15-20 minutes per side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness and have a nice char on the outside
Once cooked, remove the beef ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving
Serve the Jamaican jerk beef ribs hot, garnished with fresh lime wedges and chopped cilantro if desired
